Academic Coaching & Guidance

Unlike many other college coaching or prep programs, ACS coaches pursue a distinct goal of establishing and maintaining successful long-term relationships with students and their families--one that survives the dynamic years of adolescent indecision, turmoil, and change. We are proud that many of our current clients are younger siblings of clients who now attend or were graduated from excellent colleges and professional schools throughout the country.  Our student clients enjoy a relationship with us that may begin as early as middle school and remain strong throughout college and beyond.

As our students mature from childhood to young adulthood, their goals and action plans must also evolve to remain realistic and effective pursuits. Throughout this time, ACS coaches continually and effectively encourage students to consistently focus their energies on following and completing effective timelines and action plans that lead to positive, successful outcomes.

Thus, after initiating an Academic Coaching program, students:

  • Immediately take more effective action toward reaching goals.
  • Change the behaviors that limit their potential.
  • Create momentum necessary for increasing success.
  • Set better goals than they would have if left alone.
  • Receive the individualized instruction and encouragement so invaluable for success.

After hiring Academic Coaching Services, parents receive:

  • A knowledgeable professional who cares about their child's academic success.
  • Relevant information and competent advisement on educational issues that they can't always obtain from schools.
  • A concerned professional who listens to questions and ideas regarding their student's academic goals.
  • A student more motivated to achieve academically!
